S.A.V.E. Rx

Gulfstream has added the newest tool to its comprehensive Partners 2 Health (P2H) program for employees - S.A.V.E. Rx. Gulfstream is partnering with Ourlife, an integrated health and wellness company, to enhance our health-care plan while generating significant savings in the cost of medications for you, your family and the company.

Even though Gulfstream has already eliminated your co-pay on many generic prescription drugs, Ourlife's S.A.V.E Rx (Script Analysis Value Enhancement) program can help further reduce your costs on medications.

What is Ourlife?

What is S.A.V.E. Rx?
Developed by Ourlife, the S.A.V.E. Rx program identifies the lowest-cost medication covered under the Gulfstream insurance plan- in other words, it determines "the best medicine at the best price."

With the implementation of S.A.V.E. Rx, you will receive a list of your current medications and a list of similar, high-quality, less expensive alternative medications developed by Ourlife’s medical team and compiled into a detailed report.

S.A.V.E Rx does not tell you what drugs to take. Only you and your doctor can determine the best medication for you. S.A.V.E Rx simply offers information about medication costs, associated co-pays, and possible alternatives that will be equally effective, but will produce a cost savings.

How will you receive a S.A.V.E. Rx medication report?
Personalized, confidential reports in sealed envelopes will be distributed during working hours to employees.

Will Ourlife review the S.A.V.E. Rx medication report with you?
Yes. You will have the opportunity to meet with an Ourlife nurse practitioner. She will explain your report so you fully understand each of your prescribed medications. The Ourlife nurse practitioner also will discuss available cost-saving alternatives to your current medications.

Should I discuss the medication report with my physician?
Absolutely. This is by far the most important step in the program. You should take the medication report to your next doctor’s appointment and discuss the alternative medications. The choice of which medication is best for you is a decision that can be made only by you and your doctor.

Can Gulfstream access my S.A.V.E. Rx medication report?
No! To protect the confidentiality of every employee, Ourlife cannot provide Gulfstream with any personal health care information. Only you and your physician can review your medication report.

Is there a charge for these services to a Gulfstream employee?
No. There is no charge to you. Gulfstream will cover the full cost of preparing the medication report and the consultation with an Ourlife nurse practitioner.
